From July 1st, 2021, UK mobile operators will be applying a surcharge for calls made to their networks where an invalid or international (non-UK) caller ID is presented.
To reduce the possibility of unexpected charges and bill shock we are now enforcing a stricter caller ID validation policy, and calls that do not have a valid caller ID will be rejected.
We are also expecting surcharges to be introduced to UK geographic (fixed line) destinations (prefixes 441 and 442) from 1st August 2021.
Full details of these surcharges – which apply in addition to the regular call charges – can be found attached to this notice.
