6 January 2020, London, UK: TelcoSwitch, a leading UK provider of disruptive omnichannel communications solutions, has today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Ziron, a wholesale Communications Platform as a Service (“CPaaS”) provider. This acquisition will allow TelcoSwitch to further expand its product offerings, as well as bringing new talent to the management team.
London-based Ziron provides application program interfaces (“APIs”) for voice, SMS, and subscriber intelligence on a flexible “no commitment” basis, allowing developers to quickly integrate telecommunications services into their applications without capital outlay, or expensive long term contracts.
“We’re delighted to complete the Ziron acquisition, which is highly strategic to our mission to provide our partners and customers with the capability to deliver next-generation services”, said Russell Lux, TelcoSwitch CEO. “As a long standing Ziron customer, we’ve always been impressed with their ability to deliver reliable, innovative voice and messaging products, including their unique FlexiChannels® offering. Not only does this acquisition allow TelcoSwitch to move further into the CPaaS space, but Ziron’s partnerships and experience outside of the UK will help accelerate the next stage of our growth”.
Founded in 2011 by telecoms industry veteran Alex Kinch, Ziron numbers virtual mobile operators (MVNOs), cloud-based communications platform providers, and fintech startups amongst its customers, and operates in a number of countries and regions including the UK, Ireland, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
